A the court having jurisdiction over the criminal proceedings may order that a person who has been found incompetent to stand trial or not guilty by reason of mental illness or mental. Whoever in the nighttime or daytime breaks and enters a building ship vessel or vehicle with intent to commit a misdemeanor shall be punished by a fine of not more than two hundred dollars or by imprisonment for not more than six months or both. These terms shall not be limited to section 16 a of the act but also shall apply to all other subsections under section 16 of the act.
