Tailbone Pain After C Section

I ve heard of people breaking their tailbone during delivery but i had a c section.
Tailbone pain after c section. My son was born 11 months ago via emergency c section. It usually goes away. If you labored pushed before delivery some degree of trauma may have occurred to your lower most bone in your spine the coccyx.
Come to think of it i didn t start to notice the pain until a couple of weeks after she was born. It isn t terrible but makes it difficult to stand after sitting in a chair. I suggest an exam.
I didn t think my tailbone pain could have been caused by the c section since i did not go through labor. I have also had tailbone pain after a c section see janine s story. I ve had tailbone pain since i delivered my dd.
My chiropractor said that it is coccynx pain that is caused from the ligaments in your tailbone having pressure on them throughout pregnancy and now being inflamed from the stress. It might hurt when you stand up have sex or go to the bathroom. Pilonidal cyst tailbone pain or coccydynia can be a dull ache or a sharp pain at the bottom of your spine.
